Prescription order service

Patients on repeat medication may order items listed on their re-order slip using this service.
Patients may also use the service to request a previously prescribed item (only if given by a doctor in this practice). Patients should be aware that the request may be refused if the doctor feels he/she wishes the patient to be seen in the first instance.
Please allow 48 hours for collection.
DO NOT request the following items as these all require an appointment either with the doctor or practice nurse: HRT, Contraceptive Pill, antibiotics. Please note that the on-line prescription form is NOT encrypted - if you are worried by this please request your repeat prescription in the traditional way.

The list below gives the names of pharmacies who offer to collect prescriptions on behalf of the patient. The patient MUST however contact their chosen pharmacy first and organise this service. Some pharmacies will ask you to sign a contract with them. Each pharmacy will offer a different level of service e.g. managed repeats, collection, home delivery. This is something that you should discuss with the pharmacy and thereafter let us know which your chosen pharmacy is. If you wish to change the pharmacy that collects your script, this MUST be organised by yourself and the new pharmacy before informing the practice.

The practice does NOT physically deliver the prescriptions to any of the pharmacies. The pharmacies listed each send a representative into the practice to collect the named prescriptions, or they provide the practice will and SAE.
